NBA legend Shaquille O’Neil receives treatment for sleep apnea in this video. After talking with Harvard sleep specialists as they prepare him for an overnight sleep study, it was determined that O’Neil has moderate obstructive sleep apnea. O’Neil received treatment, and according to the video, it seems to have helped him.

CPAP America, the South Jersey-based “one-stop-shop” for sleep apnea relief, education, CPAP equipment, and Home Sleep Testing, has launched their local community speaking seminars on sleep apnea education and the ramifications of not treating the condition properly.

Sleep apnea is a sleep disorder that affects more than 18 million people each year in the U.S. alone.
